Update March 14, 2022
Although many Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, our clinic continues to limit direct contact at this time. Given this, my intake and feedback appointments will still be conducted via videoconference while testing sessions will remain in-person.
Please be advised of the following procedures for in-person testing sessions at our clinic:
- Clients will text me or my psychometrist upon arrival for your appointment and we will come to your vehicle and escort your child to my office. At the end of the session you will be texted when we are ready to bring your child back to your vehicle.
- To limit the number of people in our clinic throughout the day parents will not be able to wait in the waiting room during the assessment.
- I will be wearing a face mask throughout testing sessions. Children are also required to wear a face covering. The same measures will be in place during appointments with my psychometrist.
- All invoicing will be done electronically; payments can be made by credit card or you can send an e-transfer following the session
- The office will be fully sanitized with approved cleaners between clients, including all surfaces, handles, light switches, and testing equipment handled by your child. Toys and magazines have been removed from our clinic.
Clients need to be able to self-assess and confirm via screening questions upon arrival that no-one in the household has been sick or knowingly exposed through direct contact with an infected individual for at least two weeks prior to the appointment. If you answer yes to any of the following questions you should reschedule your appointment ASAP.
- Have you or any members of your household travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days?
- Has a member of your household tested positive for COVID-19 or had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
- Do any members of your household have any of the following symptoms?
- Fever
- New onset of cough
- Worsening chronic cough
- Shortness of breath
- Difficulty breathing
- Sore throat
- Difficulty swallowing
- Headaches
- Runny nose or nasal congestion without other known cause
